Following the semi-finals which took place on August 30th it saw Galaticoes FC from the Tamworth & District Sunday League return from Hinckley Sunday & District Sunday League side Sporting Dynamo FC with a 3-2 win. In the other semi, Nuneaton & District League Champions Drayton FC travelled to Coventry & District Sunday League Champions Ambush FC, where game Ambush FC came out on top 5-2.

The Nuneaton Cottage Hospital Cup was won, for the first time since 1913, by a Coventry side when Ambush FC, current holders of the Stockingford AA Cup and from the Coventry & District League, beat Galacticos FC from the Tamworth & District Sunday League 5-0. Matty Owens collected the Man of the Match award after his hat trick, two of them coming within the first five minutes of the second half, helped his team to the win. Owens headed Ambush into the lead which they held to half time. His second and third followed quickly after the break. Galacticos had chances of their own but Ambush increased their lead when Chris Cox converted a Luke Downs cross but goal of the game came from sub Charlie Cook who collected the ball in his own half and 50 yards plus later buried a left foot shot into the corner of the net.
