A goal mid-way through the second half from Lewis Davis was enough to give Fife Street Reserves victory in the Observer Shield (Graham Beal) Final against Drayton Reserves.  Both sides previous winners of the trophy were enenly balanced, until Fife Street were awarded a penalty, which they misse, and the strike in the second half, the tie could have gone either way.

FC Jolly's 3 - 1 Ridge Lane Reserves


FC Jolly's won the the first piece of silverware of this season when they beat Ridge Lane Reserves 3 - 1 in the Final of the John (Knocker) West Memorial Cup.  In an entertaining game Jolly's took the lead on 15 minutes with a goal from Adam Goadby.  In the second half secured the game with gaols from Daniel Morris and Jake Warmington.  Adam Bolesworth replied for Ridge Lane Reserves.

Defences were on top in the final of the Cannon Sports Cup which eventually saw Bedworth Sports complete a league and cup double with a 1-0 win over Ambleside Res. Dean Reeves scored the Bedworth Sports goal from the penalty.ot.

TNT FC  3 - 0  Drayton FC Reserves

TNT FC won the Sid Clay Memorial Cup Final and clinched one half of a possible league a cup double for them this season as eventually overcame Drayton Res 3-0 in the final. After a goal less first half in which Drayton’s keeper was called upon several times. His heroics continued in the second half, but he was powerless to stop any of the three gaols TNT scored in the last ten minutes. Ryan Harkin started things off when he cut inside off his right foot to fire a left foot shot into the net and then turned provider two minutes later, providing the cross for Luke Hand to score from 4 yards. On the stroke of full time Harkin repeated the trick from the other side of the goal for Kyell Jagodic to score, again from 4 yards.

Atherstone Barcode won the Scream Entertainment Cup to add some silverware to their season and could still clinch promotion from Division One if results go their way. Lloyd Storey scored the only goal of the game 6 minutes after half time, as Barcode edged the final 1-0 against a spirited Bedworth Liberals Res.

Weddington Thistle Reserves won 5-3 on Penalty Kicks

Weddington Thistle Res won the Pete Smith Memorial Cup for the second time this week but needed penalties to see off the challenger of Bedworth Travellers Res. Weddington opened the scoring with a goal from Liam Brown and missed the chance to increase their advantage when skipper Simon Novakevic shot wide from the penalty spot. After the interval Travellers levelled the scores when a shot from Ben Coles was deflected into the net and they went in front ten minutes later through Ben Haywood. Just over ten minutes from time Weddington drew the cores level again when Rob Harris fired home from ten yards. Weddington kept their nerve in the shoot out to win 5-3 and it was Weddington’s Lewis Edwards who took the man of the match honours.

Fife-Haunchwood FC 3rds 1 - 1 FC Jolly's

Fife-Haunchwood FC 3rds won 5-3 on Penalty Kicks

Fife Haunchwood 3rds denied FC Jollys and league a cup double when they beat them 5-3 on penalties to win the Brian Dowsett Memorial Cup. In a closely fought match, Fife took the lead mid way through the first half through Jamie Greenway. Kane Leeson equalised for Jollys two minutes after half time but neither side could trouble the scorers further. With no extra time the game went straight into penalties. FC Jollys keeper Clint Bayliss got a hand to two of the Fife Haunchwood efforts but couldn’t keep them out and with the scores level a 3-3 Jollys missed their next when Fife Haunchwood keeper Ryan Glover got down to his right to make the save. Ash Clarke then stepped up to net the winning penalty.

ID Kitchen Designs Cup - Final

Drayton FC 1 - 0 Fife-Haunchwood FC

Drayton won the first part of what they hope to be a league a cup double when they won the ID Kitchens Terry Clarke Memorial Cup for the seventh time beating Fife-Haunchwood 1-0 in the final. In a tight game played between two talented teams, Drayton player manager Ryan Slinn led from the front scoring the only goal of the game against his former team mid-way through the second half.

Arley (Scream Entertainment) FC 1 - 1 Attleborough Potters FC

Arley Scream won 5-4 on Penalties


Arley Scream  Entertaiment came from behind in the final of the Vernon Baggott Memorial Cup winning the copmetition for the first time.  Richard Horsfall gave their Divisoion One opponents Attleborough Potters the lead after 12 minutes, but "Man of the Match" Bradley Steptoe equalised on the stroke of half time.  Both side came close to adding further goals after the break but ultimently the game went to penalties, with Arley holding their nerve to win 5-4.
