Nuneaton & District

Sunday Football League.

  • The Nuneaton & District Sunday Football League was formed in June 1966.
     

  • The League is affiliated to the Birmingham County Football Association.

  • The 10 original member clubs being:

    Ansley Common FC, Midland Amateurs FC, Attleborough Mills FC,
    Evening Tribune FC, Nuneaton Fire Brigade FC, Electricity Sports FC,
    Nuneaton Chasers FC, Nuneaton Observer FC, Pheasant FC and
    Camp Hill Youth Club FC.

     

  • The structure of the League is based around two Premier Divisions, with a further five divisions operating with 85 teams.
     

The League and the Community.

  • The League is sponsored by many local business's with its main supporter and sponsor being Nuneaton Industrial Cleaners based in Nuneaton.
     

  • The N.D.S.F.L supports local charities, which have benefited since 1993 to the tune of £15,000.  Beneficiaries include The Mary Ann Evans Hospice, The George Eliot Hospital and the County Air Ambulance.
     

  • Please support all our sponsors whose support allows us to donate funds to local causes.
     

  • The League run some 16 cup competitions throughout the season, including several charity competitions where the gate money is donated to local charities.
     

  • The President of the League until June 2008 is current Hartshill Sports FC Secretary: Mr Patrick McParland.
     

  • The Leagues Vice Presidents are: - Mr Frank Parker, Mr Malc Horton, Mr Terry Clarke, Mr Richard Wightman and Mr Jim Cossey.
