With the game being played in good conditions, Old Swan started the stronger and Tom Clarke opened the scoring. With the game ebbing and flowing, Wentworth hit back but were unable to find the required breakthrough.

After the break in glorious sunshine, a penalty from Mark Cooper secured the win and a first trophy for the Atherstone side.
