In a competitive Final at the
Ambleside Way, both teams had
chances to open the scoring.
Wentworth went in front through Craig Mundy after 10 minutes,
the goal proving to be the only one of the game.
In the second half
Hartshill Oak, playing
with the wind at their backs, pushed forward for the
equaliser against their opponents from Premier Two.
Wentworth Wanderers held out to pick up their
first trophy.
