In a hard fought Final at the Pingles, chances were few and far between in the first half, and it was not until midway through the first 45 minutes when Adam Hancox opened the scoring for Collycroft.

In the second half the Working Men's Club looked to have secured victory when Michael Leeson found the net.  Windmill never gave up and a goal from Neil Percival in the last 10 minutes, kept the large crowd on edge.
