In the Sandvik Hard Metals Cup, Haunchwood Sports edged out Ford Sports in a final, played in blizzard conditions and a biting wind.  Haunchwood opened the scoring in the 15th minute when David Barnett scored from 10 yards.  Playing with the wind Ford found the conditions difficult and on 35 minutes Liam Brown increased Haunchwoods lead.

After the break two late goals from Tom Browett an a second from David Barnett secured the trophy for Haunchwood for the first time.
