Joy for Mancetter as they go top !

Mancetter Athletic are the new leaders in Mortgage Advice Agency division five, a point clear of F C Gallery, after they beat Lord Raglan 6-3. Daniel Green scored twice for Mancetter, Mark Tennant, Andrew Taylor, Ashley Barnsley and Lee Taylor shared the singles. Chapel End Salutation Res missed the chance to go top after they were held to a 1-1 draw at Wentworth Warriors. Scott Amos scored the Warriors goal; Ricky Payne found the net for Chapel End. Chris Coleman’s goal for Yenton also earned them a share of the points as they also drew 1-1. Michael Chadwick’s reply for Abbey Green ensured they took a point. John Arshad bagged five goals for Hayrick in their 6-1 win over Nuneaton Prince 3rds. Graham Golden scored the other Hayrick goal.  


Bull & Acnchor draw level against Ambleside.

Bedworth Liberals moved into fourth spot in Deslandes Premier Two after they beat Coton Rose 8-1. Liberals, fielding five 16 year olds in their starting line up, had one of them, Scott Harding, to thanks as he bagged four of his team’s goals. Neil Randle, Andy Mosey, Matt Robinson and Mark Lambert completed the scoring. Weddington Thistle take over top spot after they beat Attleboro Arms 3-1, while Mark Harrison’s goal for Bull & Anchor Ash Green earned them a share of the points with Ambleside. Rob Youson was on target for Ambleside but a missed penalty cost them all three points. Wayne Wicks and Jay Cattell both scored twice for Black Horse Sports in their 6-2 win over Wentworth Wanderers. Sean McCallum and Kevin Smith also found the net for Black Horse, James Hill scored both Wentworth replies.  

Lee Molinueax and Paul Aiello both found the net for Hartshill Sports but they went down 3-2 to Ansley Social. Trent FC Res stay bottom after losing 5-2 to Coton Liberals.  

A hat trick from Gareth Holmes helped Nuneaton Print division two leaders Stockingford Sports to a 4-2 win over Drayton Res and open up a three-point gap at the top. Andrew Dagnall scored the other Sports goal, Steve Phillips and Shay Tirabasso replied for Drayton Res. Attleboro Oak moved into second after they beat Ridge Lane Res 1-0, while New Dolphin Res enjoyed a 6-2 win over Stockingford White Lion to move into mid table.

Chapel End Salutation stay top of Nuneaton Trophies division three despite losing 2-0 to Yenton Sunday.  Nuneaton Prince Res ended Mount Pleasant Bedworth’s 100% league record by beating them 16-0. Jonathan Talton led the way with a hat trick, Paul Gaunt, Sean Duffy, Danny Gaunt, Adam Gowland and Kevin Cook all scored twice, Dan Tweedy, Tony Morris and Marcus Grindley the singles. Weddington Thistle moved into mid table thanks to a 2-1win over Ambleside Res.  

Garth Merry scored twice for Collycroft Cricketers Res as they drew level on points at the top of Heartland Evening News division four. Mark Fellows also found the net for Cricketers as they went on to beat Anker Inn 3-1. PNW Athletico also share top spot thanks to their 4-2 win over Attleboro Sports. Alex O’Neal bagged a hat trick for PNW, Chris Peach add the other. Darren Davison scored his first goal for Sports; Alex Lawrence grabbed his fifth consecutive goal.  


Goalkeepers ball !!!

Mark Aucott and Dave Aucott both found the net for Ford Sports Res as they beat Bedworth Liberals Res 2-1 in the Peter Smith Memorial Reserve Cup. Carl Lewis replied for Liberals. Chase FC eased into round three thanks to a 6-0win over Stockingford Sports Res.  

Ashley Wilkes, Danny Armiger and Jim Elliot all found the net for Hill Top but they went down 4-3 in extra time in their second round Tribune Cup tie.   

F C Gallery continued their excellent start to the season and beat division one side Attleboro in the first round of the Observer Shield. Mills took an early lead but Steve Kent, Paul Jones and Matthew Watson all found the net for Gallery and gave them a 3-1half-time lead. Kent added his second goal after the break to secure the victory.
