Gallery’s excellent start to the league season continues
as they registered a 7-0 win over Yenton Res in
Mortgage Advice Agency division
five. Matthew Watson and Paul McDonald kept up
their prolific strike partnership bagging two apiece,
while Lloyd Jacques, Steve Kemp and Gary Kemp added the
singles. That victory takes to within a point of leaders
Chapel End who didn’t have a game. Wentworth Warriors
registered their first three pointer of the season with a
5-3 win over Jail House. Jason Daffern scored a hat trick
for Wentworth, Dick Dunn and David Snowden scoring the
others. The other two games ended all square with Hayrick
sharing six goals with Abbey Athletic and Nuneaton Riley's
1-1 with Nuneaton Prince 3rds.

Ford
Sports have a tree point advantage at the top of
Mission Fashion Premier One
after they beat Fir Tree 6-2. Lee Petch bagged three of
the ford goals; Neil Mather scored two more, Ricardo
Rosetti the single. Peter Gills cored both replies for Fir
Tree. Sunnyside stay second but they lost ground after
being held to a 3-3 draw by Hartshill Sports. Scott
Molineaux scored twice for Hartshill, Matt Stanley the
other. Bulkington White Lion are back to something like
their form of two seasons ago after their 4-3 win over New
Dolphin took them into third spot. Steph Jones scored
twice for Bulkington, Jim Darlison and Darren Whitmore
scored the others. Chase FC are finding life tough after
they suffered their fourth league defeat at the hands of
Nuneaton Prince. Callum Bailey, Wayne Boone and Andy
Stringer all hit the target for Prince, Jonah Aucott and
Chris Hollowood replied for Chase.
The
top two sides in Deslandes
Premier Two both drew this week but stay in the
top places. Crystal stay top after drawing 1-1 with
Ambleside. Nick Ginnelli scored the Crystal goal, Lee
Welland replied for Ambleside but their keeper Jim Inglis,
standing in as you do, kept Crystal at bay to secure a
point. Trent stay second after they drew 2-2 with Bedworth
Liberal. James Randall and Jai Leech were on target for
Trent. Sean Mccallum scored twice for Black Horse Sports
as they kicked off their league campaign with a 4-0 win
over Weddington Thistle. Lee Stein and Wayne Wickes scored
the other goals. Kyle Graham 3, Karl Grantham and Sam
Truslove all found the net for Collycroft Cricketers as
they beat Bedworth Travellers 5-2. Glen Stringer and Adam
Roger scored the Travellers goals.

Ford
Oak are a point clear at the top of
Alphie Cain division one after they beat
Trent FC Res 5-1. Andy Moreton scored the Trent
consolation. Nuneaton Cherry Tree are up to second thanks
to a 4-0 win over Ansley Social. Paul Genner, Stuart
Jerrams, a Carl Douglas penalty and Stuart Stain all found
the net for Cherry Tree. Hartshill Sports Res slip to
third after they went down 2-1 to Lancet. Anthony
Griffiths scored the Hartshill goal. Hill Top started
their league campaign with a 6-2 win over Nuneaton Punch
Bowl. Ashley Wilkes led the way with a hat trick; Giles
Andwar, Adam Richardson and Danny Armiger added the
singles. Rob Kirkbride and Alan Reader both scored trebles
for Attleboro Mills as they beat Kelly’s Bar 6-3. Aaron
Barrell, Daniel Moreton and Damian Johnson replied for
Kelly’s Bar.
A 3-1
win for Stockingford Sports against Old Swan takes the two
points clear at the top of
Nuneaton Print division two. Ford Sports Res
slip to second after being held to a 1-1 draw by Ridge
Lane Res. Graeme Duncan scored the Ford Sports goal,
Stephen Dixon replied fro Ridge Lane. Dave Carmichael
scored twice for Attleboro Oak as they went onto beat Nags
Head 5-1. Mick Sayer, Neil Collins and Lee Miller
completed the Oak scoring, Sean Daniel replied for Nags.
New Dolphin Res picked up three points thanks to a 3-1win
over Drayton Res. Zak Barnett, John Toroney and Dave
Tammejoe all found the net for New Dolphin; Steve Phillips
scored the Drayton goal.
Mount
Pleasant Bedworth’s 1-0 win over Hill Top Res takes them
to the top of Nuneaton Trophies
division three. Chapel End Social are second on
goal difference after they beat Weddington Thistle Res
2-1. Cameron Forryan and Ian Aspley both found the net
for Chapel End, Matt Travis replied for Weddington. Yenton
and Black Horse Sports Res shared the points as they drew
2-2. Ashley Steptoe and Peter Niachinski scored the Yenton
goals, James O’Brien and Chris Harris replied for Black
Horse. Danny Gaunt and Jordan Tolken both scored twice for
Nuneaton Prince Res in their 5-0 win over Attleboro Arms
Res. Adam Gowland scored the single Prince goal.
Four
teams share the lead at the top of
Heartland Evening News division four.
Baddesley Red Lion’s 5-2 win over Ford Oak Res takes them
top while Collycroft Cricketers Res moved into second
after a 4-2 win over PNW Athletico, who are third.
Attleboro Sports makeup the top four thanks to their 2-0
win over Wentworth Wanderers Res. Alex Lawrence and Josh
Mears found the net for Sports. Bedworth Liberals Res
finally started their league season and with their players
chomping at the bit they beat Anker Inn 4-1.Two goals from
Carl Lewis and one each from Andy Deeming and Andy
Sinclair secured the win for Liberals.
