Manor increase lead in
Heartland Division Four !
Hartshill Manor increased their lead at the top of
Heartland Evening News division four to four points thanks
to a single goal from Stuart Nevitt giving them a 1-0 win
over Bedworth Liberals Res. Second placed Royal Oak
Bedworth slipped to third after they went down 3-0 to
Collycroft Cricketers, who take over second spot. Craig
Holland scored all three Collycroft goals. Attleboro
Sports’ Mark Wilson scored three goals as his team took on
Baddesley Red Lion, but two of them were in the wrong end.
His two own goals and a single from Baddesley’s James
Smith gave the Atherstone side a 3-1 halftime lead. Wilson
eventually scored in the right end and along with two
goals from Tom Layburn Sports drew level. Darren Davidson
came off the bench to score the Sports winner. Veteran
Dick Dunn scored for Wentworth Wanderers Res as they
shared the points in a 1-1 draw with PNW Athletico. Wayne
Russell scored the PNW goal. At the bottom Attleboro Mills
swap places with Anker Inn after Mills beat Anker 3-2.

Ford Sports v Haunchwood Sports-
Premier One !
In Mortgage Advice Agency division five,
FC Gallery
extended their lead at the top to six points after they
beat Mancetter Athletic 4-1. David Dorans scored twice for
Gallery, Paul McDonald added his 31st of the
season and Matthew Watson returned from injury to score
the goals. Hayrick stay second but they went down 2- to
third placed Nuneaton Riley’s. David Jones scored both
Riley’s goals. Alan Smith and Ashley Berrill both scored
twice for Jail House as they went on to beat Chapel End
Salutation 5-1. Michael Haynes scored the single Jail
House goal, Lee McKewan scored for Chapel End. Bedworth
Old Black Bank won their third straight game as they beat
Wentworth Warriors 5-4. Alan Titchner scored three of the
Black Bank goals, Norton Smith, David Lee, and two Jason
Daffern goals made up the Wentworth reply. Abbey Green
Athletic moved into mid table thanks to a 6-1 win over
Yenton Res.
Hartshill Sports stay top of
Mission Fashion Premier One
after they beat Chase FC 1-0 thanks to Rocky Pratt’s only
goal. Leigh Pope and Chris Ryder both found the net for
Ford Sport as they held a 2-0 half time lead against Haunchwood Sports. After the break Ford were reduced to 10
men and saw Haunchwood’s Dave Barrett reduce the arrears.
Haunchwood’s Ross Genner then missed a penalty five
minutes from time to leave Ford with all three points.
Bulkington White Lion had Jim Darlison to thank as he
scored both goals in a 2-1win over Drayton. Martin Sadler
scored the Drayton goal.

Weddington Thistle take over top spot in
Deslandes Premier
Two after Alex Evans scored twice to give them a 2-0win
over Ambleside. Crystal missed the chance to take top spot
after they were beaten 2-1 by Bedworth Travellers. Danny
Jordan was on target for Crystal but Ashley Cole and Glen
Stringer won the game for Travellers. At the other end,
Wentworth Wanderers won their game with Coton Rose 6-3 to
ease their relegation fight while Collycroft Cricketers,
also in the relegation dogfight, beat Bull & Anchor 2-1.
Ford Oak’s lead at the top of
Alphie Cain division one has
been trimmed to four points by Hill Top, who went on to
beat Haunchwood Sports Res 4-0. Dane Herdman and sixteen
year old Shane Williamson both found the net for Kelly’s
Bar as they beat Hartshill Sports Res 2-0. Lancet moved
out of the bottom three thanks to their 4-1 win over Coton
Liberal.

Middle of the park action !
Stockingford Sports edged closer to the
Nuneaton Print
division two title after they beat Drayton Res 3-0. Andy
Dagnall, Gareth Holmes and Kyle Cartwright all found the
net for Sports. Their closest rivals, Attleboro Oak,
maintain the challenge in second spot after they beat Nags
Head 5-0. Mark Wright, Gavin Wood, Lee Gore, Dave Aucott
and a 25-yard volley from Dale Hulme ensured Ford Sports
Res stay in third spot after they beat Stockingford White
Lion 5-1. Windmill’s 4-1 win over Old Swan keeps them in
fourth spot.
Sporting Lloyds stay top of
Nuneaton Trophies division
three, but only by goal difference, despite going down 1-0
to Weddington Thistle Res. Thistle move into second level
on points with Sporting Lloyds. Brett Walker’s goal for
Chapel End Social was enough to give them a 1-0 win over
Ambleside Res and move them into the top four. Craig
Everitt scored both goals for Attleboro Arms as they beat
Hill Top Res 2-1.
