Ford maintain lead in
Premier One !
Table toppers Ford Sports have a narrow one point lead at
the top of
Mission Fashion Premier One
after they beat Drayton 4-2. Lee Petch bagged a hat trick
for Ford, Neil Mather scored the other, Ben Sadler scored
both Drayton goals. Bulkington White Lion take over second
spot thanks to a 3-1 win over New Dolphin. James Darlison
scored twice for Bulkington. Collycroft Goose are up to
third, on goal difference from White Hart RL. Goose had
Danny Harris and Ben Doran to thank for a 3-0 win over
Hartshill Sports. A debut goal for Luke Ginnelli earned
Haunchwood Sports all three points in a 1-0 win over Ridge
Lane, while Fir Tree moved out of the bottom three thanks
to a 4-1 over bottom side Chase FC. Christian Hollowood
was on target for Chase.

In
Delandes Premier Two
Trent FC extended their lead at the top to five points
after they secured a 2 1-1 win over Ambleside while
closest rivals Weddington Thistle lost by the same score
at Bedworth Travellers. Jason Carvel scored both Trent
goals to give them a 2-0 half time lead but Ambleside
pressed after the break with Trent keeper Darren Gunn
pulling of string of saves to keep Ambleside at bay. He
was beaten however ten minutes from time but Jim Coss, but
Trent hung on for the win. Bedworth Liberals were undone
2-0 by Bull & Anchor Ash Green, who leap frog over them,
while Black Horse Sports stayed in touch with a 2-1 win
over Coton Rose. Sean McCallum and Lee Stein both hit the
target for Black Horse. Nick Ginnelli scored twice for
Crystal as they went on to beat Collycroft Cricketers 3-2.
Lee Hurst scored the other Crystal goal; Carl Grantham
scored both Cricketers replies. Attleboro Arms lost ground
on the teams above them after losing 6-0 to Wentworth
Wanderers.

Alphie Cain division one,
Ford Oak maintained their four-point lead at the top with
a 6-3 victory over Hartshill Sports Res. Steve Rowe scored
twice for Hartshill, Matt Lawler added the other. Hill
Top’s 7-1 win over Attleboro Mills keeps them in second,
while Haunchwood Sports Res takeover third spot after they
beat Kelly’s Bar 3-0. Dave Taberer scored twice for
Haunchwood, Wayne Simpson adding the single. Nuneaton
Cherry Tree edged above Lancet with a 2-1 victory courtesy
of goals from Carl Douglas and Carl Hutchinson. The bottom
of the table clash ended all square as Punch Bowl drew 2-2
with Trent FC Res. Dave Robinson and 45-year-old Paul
Shepherd scored the Trent goals.
Stockingford Sports are now nine points
clear at the top of
Nuneaton Print division two
after they won the top of the table clash with second
placed Attleboro Oak. Gareth Holmes, Andy Dagnall and Paul
Elkington all found the target for Sports in a 3-2 win.
Drayton Res moved up a couple of places thanks to a 3-1
win over Chase FC Res. Steve Phillips, returning from
injury, scored twice for Drayton.
Nuneaton Prince Res have opened up a
two-point lead at the top of
Nuneaton Trophies division three
after they beat Attleboro Arms Res 4-1. Sporting Lloyds
lost ground after they were held to a 1-1 draw with third
placed Yenton Sunday. Wayne Smith hit the target for
Lloyds, Pratera Niegewski replied for Yenton. Fourth
placed Weddington Thistle Res drew 2-2 with Chapel End
Salutation for whom, Craig Ross and Danny McLaughlin
scored goals. Mount Pleasant Bedworth edged out Ambleside
Re 1-0 to move away from the relegation zone.
With
Heartland Evening News division four
leaders Royal Oak Bedworth not involved this week,
Collycroft Cricketers had the chance to go too of the
table, but they had to settle for a share of the points as
they drew 2-2 with Hartshill Manor. Gary Wareing and John
Barnett scored the Collycroft goals, Danny Burton and Pte
Gillam replied for Hartshill. Bedworth Liberals Res
complete the top four who hare beginning to open up a gap
on the rest. They had Carl Lewis to thank for his hat
trick that gave them a 3-2 win over Attleboro Sports. Gary
Jamieson scored direct from a cornet for Attleboro, Dave
Mallabone score the other. Baddesley Red Lion heaped some
misery on Anker Inn as they won 3-2, while bottom club
Attleboro Mills Res collect a valuable point in a 2-2 draw
with Wentworth Wanderers Res. Dave Snowdon and Tom Clark
found the net for Wentworth, Stuart Salmon and Craig
Hornsby replied for Mills.
Hayrick missed the chance to close the gap on
Mortgage Advice Agency division five
leaders FC Gallery as they were beaten 3-1by Chapel End
Salutation Res. Dave Johnson, Gavin Sears and Lee McKewon
all found the net for Chapel End, Graham Goulden replied
for Hayrick. The leaders meanwhile were being held to a
1-1draw by bottom club Bedworth Old Royal Oak. Rob
McDonald gave FC Gallery the lead but Kyle Wiesnewski
equalised for Black Bank. Third placed Nuneaton Riley’s
also lost ground after they were beaten 4-1 by Nuneaton
Prince 3rds, but Jailhouse improved their chances of
promotion as they beat Abbey Green Athletic 8-0. Ashley
Berrell scored seven of those goals Steve Smith the other.
Lee Taylor scored twice for Mancetter Athletic as they
went on to beat Yenton Sunday Res 4-3. Sam Barsby and Gary
Masters completed the Mancetter scoring, Chris Coleman,
Stephen Moore and Luke Simmons replied for Yenton.
