100 up for Jamie Mills of Attleboro Oak !

Jamie Mills registered 100 goals for Attleboro Oak as he scored twice in their 3-0 win over Ridge Lane Res. He compiled his century in just over 3 seasons and takes his tally this term to eight. That win took Oak up to second in Nuneaton Print division two, a point behind leaders Stockingford Sports who shared the spoils in a goal less with neighbours White Lion. Old Swan missed the chance to go top after they were beaten 3-1 by Drayton Res. Darren Phipps, Josh Ashby and Aaron Seymour all found the net for Drayton, John New replied for Old Swan. Ford Sports Res are up to fifth after they beat Sunnyside Res 3-2. Dave Aucott, Mark Aucott and Mark Wright found the net for Ford, who also missed a penalty, while Matthew Gould and David Drew replied for Sunnyside.  


Sporting Lloyds v Chapel End Salutation

Yenton Sunday are the new leaders in Nuneaton Trophies division three after they beat Attleboro Arms Res 4-0. Matthew Miller scored two of the Yenton goals; Kieran Brown and Jonathan Lunn added the singles. Last week’s leaders Weddington Thistle Res drop to second after they were held to a 2-2 draw by Nuneaton Prince Res. Sporting Lloyds and Chapel End Salutation ended with honours even in a goal less draw, while Danny Armiger scored our of the Hill Top Res six goals in a 6-2 win over Black Horse Sports Res. Chris Neale and George Whittam scored the other Hill Top goals.  Ambleside Res fielded a centre half partnership of Dave Brunning and Andy Marchi whose total age was over 80 years, but experience in a team of 17 year olds paid off, as they beat Mount Pleasant Bedworth 5-0. Boston Rhodes opened the scoring after five minutes direct from a corner before Chris Roe and Simon Rawbone with 2 gave Ambleside a 4-0 half time lead. Richard Feeney completed the scoring when his shot went in off the post.  

The top of the table clash in Deslandes Premier Two went the way of leaders Trent FC in a one sided 6-2 win over Weddington Thistle. Phil Green led the way with a hat trick for Trent, Jason Carvell, Ashley Smart and Shane Brassington scored the singles. Black Horse Sports drop to fourth after they were beaten 3-1 by Bedworth Travellers, while Collycroft Cricketers climb into third after a 5-0 win over Wentworth Wanderers. Kyle Grantham 2, Adam Hancox, Tom Hester and Sam Truslove scored the Cricketers goals. Attleboro Arms stay in the bottom three after suffering a 3-0 defeat against Bedworth Liberal, while Coton Rose remain without a point after a 7-0 loss to Bull & Anchor Ash Green.  


Kelly's Bar v Nuneaton Punch Bowl

Ford Oak take over top spot in Cains Finacial Advisor division one thanks to a 5-0 win over Attleboro Mills. Gavin Orton scored two of the Ford goals; Jonathan Clark, Andy Parkes and Neil Wood scored the others.  James Thomason scored twice for Hartshill Sports Res as the drew2-2 with Ansley Social. Pete Kirkham bagged both goals for Ansley. Daniel Moreton headed his 12th goal of the season for Kelly’s Bar as they went on to beat Nuneaton Punch Bowl 2-1. Moreton has scored in every one of his last nine games for Kelly’s Bar. Shane Hunter however found an equaliser for Punch, converting the rebound after Steve Fleming’s penalty was saved by Kelly’s Bar keeper Clinton Bayliss. Clarke Barrell put Kelly’s Bar back in front and they held on to seal the points. Trent Res stay bottom after suffering their seventh straight defeat despite goals from Ryan Winmill and John Hogg in a 3-2 defeat against Lancet. 


Lloyds players close in !

Collycroft Cricketers Res take over top spot in Heartland Evening News division four after they beat Baddesley Red Lion 5-3. Craig Holland cored twice for Collycroft with and own goal, Ashley Oakes and Gavin Wareing supplying the others. Martin Adams 2 and Matthew Woolley scored the Baddesley replies. Ford Oak Res drop to second after they were on the wrong end of a 5-2 defeat. Richard Orton and Richard George found the net for Ford but opponents, Wentworth Wanderers Res took all three points thanks to two goals each from Daniel Carnevale and Tom Clark plus a single from Chris Gee. Lewis Halfacree scored twice for Bedworth Old Black Bank as they went on to beat Anker Inn 5-3. Darren Oddy, Dave Hitch and Richard Seymour completed the Black Bank scoring. Carl Lewis and Lewis Hatwell both found the net for Bedworth Liberals Res in their 2-1win over Attleboro Sports. Adam Bolesworth scored for Attleboro. Stuart Nevitt and Danny Burton both scored twice for Hartshill Manor as they beat PNW Athletico 5-0. Pete Gillam scored the other Hartshill goal as they moved up to fourth. 

In Mortgage Advice Agency division five, Nuneaton Riley’s stay three points clear after they beat Lord Raglan 6-2. Riley’s top scorers Dave Jones and Lewis Ramone both added the named to the score sheet. FC Gallery fought back from 2-0 down and with only 10 men to beat Abbey Green Athletic 2-0. Gallery were 2-0 down after 20 minutes and things got worse when they were reduced to 10 men, but Paul Jones threw them a lifeline with a goal before the interval. Further goals from Steve Kent, Brett Ward and Lloyd Jacques settled the nerves and earned Gallery the points. Mancetter Athletic slipped up in third after they were beaten 2-1 at Stockingford Sports Res, while Jail House secured all three points with a 1-0 win over Wentworth Warriors.  Jon Arshad bagged a hat trick for Hayrick as they went onto beat Black Bank 4-1 to move into fourth. Richard Gallagher scored the other Hayrick goal. Chris Coleman, Andy Taylor, Lee Hewlett and Craig French all found the net for Yenton Res as they beat Chapel End Salutation Res 4-2. Dave Johnson and Kevin Mitchell replied for Chapel End. 

In Mission Fashion Premier One, Lee Petch scored twice for Ford Sports as they beat Chase FC 3-2.Petch opened the scoring after his penalty was saved but reacted the quickest to score from the rebound. Jamie Steele replied fro Chase to give Ford a slender halftime lead. Ford increased their lead after the break but Chase missed a penalty of their own before Kristain Hollowood pulled a goal back from 3-2. Pete Benn grabbed four goals Ben Sadler another 3 as Drayton beat Nuneaton Prince 9-2. Martin Sadler and Ian George scored the Drayton singles, Rudi Golds scored both Prince replies. 

It was better news for Nuneaton Prince in the Peter Smith Memorial Reserve cup as their reserve side reached the semi finals. Warren Penson’s goal gave them a 1-0 win over Chase FC Res. Prince are now guaranteed a place in the final as their Res face their third team in the semis. The first time this has happened since clubs were allowed to field three teams.
