Registration Forms
League Registration forms have to be with the Registration
Secretary before 6.00pm each
Tuesday, for the player to be eligible to play
the following Sunday.
NDSFL REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
Use in Conjunction with RULE 8
(1) Have
signed a
fully and correctly completed League registration form in
ink, countersigned by the Club
Secretary, and who has been registered with the
Registration Secretary 5 days
prior to playing and whose completed registration
counterfoil has been received by the Club prior to playing.
(2)
Once registered with the League a player shall remain a
member of the Club for which he has signed for the remainder
of the current season, unless a transfer is effected
in accordance with
FA, BCFA and League Rules.
(3)
A player shall be registered for only one club within the
League at any one time. The Secretary of the Club shall
ascertain whether a player is registered with another
Club, by contacting the
Registration Secretary.
(4)
The Registration Form
including the counterfoil shall be completed by the player,
in full block capitals, and with all questions answered, by
deleting as necessary. The player shall record his FULL
name and shall sign the form with his usual signature in
the space provided. “Any player in breach of sections 1 – 3
of this rule shall be suspended until his case is dealt with
by the NDSFL
Management Committee”.

The Club Secretary
shall check the completed players Registration Form and
counterfoil, and after ensuring it has been completed
correctly, shall sign it as witnessed and send it to the
Registration Secretary,
to reach him a minimum of 5 days before the player is
eligible to play for the Club. Registration forms must be
forwarded to the Registration
Secretary in a sealed envelope, with the name of
the Club and number of forms enclosed, clearly marked on the
outside of the envelope. Where a different number of forms
to that marked are enclosed the
Registration Secretary shall notify the Club to
remedy the situation.
The Registration Secretary will not accept
registration Forms in any other way.
Upon receipt of the registration form, the
RegistrationSecretary
will register the player and return the tear off counterfoil
(receipt) to the Club Secretary.
Clubs should not play any player until they are in
possession of the returned processed counterfoil (receipt),
or have checked with the
Registration Secretary to ensure that the
player’s registration has been processed. Clubs playing
players without compliance with the above may have played
players who have not been registered with the League, and
are therefore ineligible.
These Clubs will be dealt with under
(Rule 8n clause 5
& 6).
(6)
Registration forms not correctly completed will not be
accepted and, therefore, will invalidate the player's
registration until such time as correctly completed, and
re-submitted as per Rule 8.
(7)
Clubs not completing or submitting Registration Forms
correctly will be dealt with under
Rule 8.
(8) Where a player has transferred from a Club to
another Club, who subsequently resigns from the League, then
that player may join any other Club in the League, provided
the requirements of the
League Rules
have been complied with.
(9) Should a player's address change during the current
season, the
Registration Secretary
shall be informed immediately by his
Club Secretary.
