On a good playing surface at Bermuda, both sides had early chances, but it was Premier Two New Dolphin opened up a 3-0 half time lead, with goals from Andy Lawrence and a brace from Jamie King.

In the second half Thistle came straight out of the blocks, pulling a goal back on 47 minutes through Lee Taylor.  Dolphin composed and soon opened up a 4-1 lead with goal from Andy Lawrence.  Weddington reduced the arrears through Alex Evans before Matt Smith scored a fifth for New Dolphin.
