On a hard dry surface at the Pingles Arena, both sides had early chances, but no one could break the deadlock in the first half.

In the second half Nuneaton Cherry Tree came straight out of the blocks, putting pressure on the Black Horse defence, but the Premier Two side came back stongley in an end to end battle.  Cherry Tree opened the scoring on 70 minutes when Carl Hutchinson slotted home.  Black Horse upped the presure and Sean McCallum netted the equaliser on 75 minutes.  There was no further scoring as the game went into the penalty shootout, where Cherry goalstopper Andy Wheeler save 2 penalties to see Cherry Tree come out on top 3 - 1.

The BOSTOCKS "Man of the Match" award, went to Nuneaton Cherry Tree capatain Stuart Stain.
