Dear Colleagues,
Can
I on behalf of N&DSFL Management Committee thank all our clubs,
officials, players and the match officials for their help to
complete season 2007-2008.
The
presentation evening was again well supported.
A
big thanks must go to all our sponsors and again we were given
excellent press coverage from the Bedworth Echo, Heartland Evening
News, Nuneaton Evening Telegraph also Nuneaton/Bedworth Tribune.

was a major source of information for all who visited and there
was plenty who did, again Alan Aucott must be commended on his
excellent work maintaining this site throughout the year.
This season we will have 65 clubs; this included 11 new ones,
giving a total of 95 teams.
The
league will operate with 7 Divisions as in previous years.
We
trust you will all enjoy season 2008 - 2009 and can I on behalf of
the Management Committee wish everybody good luck for your new
campaign.

IMPORTANT
The
information following is important to the smooth running of the
League, and should be carefully read. Dates when information is
required must be noted and the appropriate actions
completed.
NEW SEASON
The
season commences on
SUNDAY 31 August 2008,
fixtures will be sent by e-mail, and all call off
rules will apply. We will be playing over Xmas and New Year.
Clubs playing on private pitches, which will not be available for
the season start, should inform N&DSFL Fixture Secretary by
1st
August 2008.
There may be midweek fixtures at the start of our season.
Premier One clubs will not enter Tribune Cup until Round 2
LEAGUE STRUCTURES
The
league structures and divisional strengths are shown on the web
site.
REGISTRATION FORMS
Mark Woods our Registration Secretary is the person for forms; if
he is unavailable these will be available from John Ward at
“Mission” of Nuneaton, or Alan Aucott in Witherley, just off the
A5.
Please remember although you can sign players from 1st
June, the league will not accept registrations until
15th July. Please
ensure that the forms are correctly completed, or they will be
returned to you, postage will be charged for any returned forms
and players may be ineligible.
Clubs are reminded that they must
register a minimum of 11 players for each team, with N&DSFL by
17th August 2008.
It
should be noted that returning forms at the first league meeting
will not be two weeks prior to your season starting.

LEAGUE MEMBERSHIP DOCUMENTATION
The following documents must be
submitted to the General Secretary before 15th August
2008
Code of Conduct
The
leagues minimum requirement of the above must be signed and dated
by the Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer of your club, indicating
the date of your AGM when it was adopted.
Clubs Balance Sheet
Clubs shall provide their previous season’s balance sheet to the
required standard.
Club Insurance for Players &
Officials
The
total premium or basic cover should have been paid by 1st
July, we are running late.
If
any one of the documents is not produced by 15th
August, or your insurance not paid by 1st August, your
club will be suspended and shall be fined.
Non
compliance would also mean that your club would not be entitled to
the reduction in league fees as per rule.
OUTSIDE CUP COMPETITIONS
Will all clubs who intend to, or have entered Outside Cup
Competitions, please notify the Fixture Secretary on or before 15th
August, as per the new rule.
ALTERATIONS TO LEAGUE DIRECTORY
N&DSFL league directory is now being prepared. If any of your
club details including, kit, secretary, telephone numbers etc,
have altered since completing your application form, please
contact N&DSFL General Secretary as soon as possible.
Note: - If your Secretary changes,
BCFA must also be notified in writing.
FIRST LEAGUE MEETING 2008 - 2009
SEASON
The
first League Meeting will be held on
Monday 18th August 2008 at The Pavilion,
Ansley Road, Stockingford, Nuneaton,
commencing at 7.29pm.
At
this meeting the following rule changes are proposed and will be
voted on:-
Rule 8(n) paragraph 3, 4 & 5, it is
proposed that the number 3 (reference to games played), be changed
to
5 games in these paragraphs.
Rule 10(f) paragraph 3, it is
proposed this paragraph is removed.
All
league documentation together with BCFA handbooks and fixtures
will be distributed at this meeting.
Fixtures will be available on the web site.
MEETING of NEW CLUBS & NEW
SECRETARIES
2008 - 2009 SEASON
There will be a meeting for all new clubs and new Secretaries on
Monday 11th August 2008 at the SAA,
Pavilion Club 7.30pm start.
REFEREES FEES 2008 - 2009
The
fees this season has not yet been set by BCFA.
PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE
Your BCFA affiliation fee covers your club against Public
Liability.
The
current cover expires on 31st July it will
automatically be renewed.
