In bright sunshine at at the pavilion, chances went to both sides in an entertaining first quarter, and it was a surprise that it took to midway through the first half when the White Lion went in front, with a well taken effort from Darren Longstaff.  The Punch Bowl had a number of good chances, but good goalkeeping and poor shooting was to become their downfall on the day.

In the second half the Stockingford side made sure of the trophy when Darren Longstaff netted his second goal of the game.
