In an exciting final at the Pingles, there was little to choose between the teams, the half ending level at 0-0.  The wind played a big part throughout and it helped in the only goal of the game.  Haunchwood were awarded a free kick 30 yards out on the right touchline, the ball was floated in and Craig Morris out jumped the Lane defence to head the ball home from 8 yards.
