New Dolphin won the Glass 2000 Cup with an all round performance against a very good Bedworth Liberals side.  Both sides had chances early on but good defensive play from both defences kept the score level at the interval.

On a very warm day, New Dolphin pressed forward, again only to be thwarted by some excellent goalkeeping from the Libs stopper.  The deadlock was broken in the 75th minute from the penalty spot, Chris Day scoring for the Dolphin.  With time running out Day secured the win with his second on 85 minutes.
