In an end to end Final it was not until the 80th minute for the first goal to arrive, and then it was two in a minute. Captain Sean Morrissey opened the scoring for Mount Pleasant, only for Dean Ballard to level the tie straight from the kick off.  In extra time Ambleside took the lead through Carter.  Nik Berry took the game intto the dreaded penalty shoot out in which Mount Pleasant prevailed 7-6
