In a competitive Final at Stockingford AA, played in a swirling wind, both sides went close in the early stages.  Sunnyside playing with the wind took the lead through Jonathon Wilkes, and with Ashley Mantack adding a second, New Dolphin were on the back foot.

After the interval, with the wind at their backs, the Atherstone side pushed forward and were rewarded when they were awarded a penalty on the hour.  With the wind playing a big part, Sunnyside kept their goal intact, with some good saves by the keeper.  The game was clinched in the 90th minute when Lee Parker netted a third for the Stockingford side.
