In a sporting but competitive game, played in good conditions at the Pingles, both sides had chances early on, with the game swaying one way then the other.

It was not until stoppage time at the end of the first half that the break through came, with John Banks netting from 6 yards to put Attleborough Arms in front.

Both teams came came close in the second half, and with the Oak on top in the last 15 minutes the woodwork prevented them drawing level in the 80th and 89th minute
